What do you think about your best friend giving you cash for a Christmas present? Am I just being old-fashioned in thinking that cash is too Impersonable a gift? I have believed that a gift should reflect your relationship and understanding of that person, showing your consideration of the person, not just a required transaction.
I appreciate the gesture of giving a gift, but I would have been much more appreciative of a cheaper dollar value that expressed a connection...am I being to sensitive?

Not to be rude but cash usually means they have no idea what you like, and don%26#039;t want to venture a guess in case they get you something you don%26#039;t like. I believe its better to get something you dont like than cash (well cash is generally better, but from a friend standpoint i mean)
