Cash reward for reporting a AWOL marine of over 30 days ?

i know someone who i just found out has been awol from the marines for well over the 30 day mark. they are my friend and i think they should turn themselfs in asap. but ive heard since they now have a felony warrent out for the arrest there could be a cash reward ? i hate to do it, but id turn them in for $$.... besides i think there a coward for doing this and this is the reason i never wanted to join the armed services. they have 4 years left on the contract to.

Cash or no cash, turn him in. We will just focus on the pricipal of the issue and nothing else. He is a deserter. He is a liar and a coward. At least when he gets charged with his felony he can be held accountable for not upholding the commitment which he decided to make, to begin with.

I spent 11 years in the Marine Corps. The recruiter wasn%26#039;t hold a gun or a K-Bar to my head or neck when it was time to sign my contract the first time, or the time after that.

Let him and those like him burn. If he wants out that bad, and he can convince them of it, they will let him go, but he chose the cowardly way out. He was informed of the consequenses in boot camp.

The military is not for everybody, I can accept that, but just walking out is not the right way to deal with a bad decision.
