Cash flow is simply the difference between the money you take in (called %26quot;revenue%26quot;) minus the money you pay out (called %26quot;expenses%26quot;). If your revenue is higher than your expenses, you have a positive cash flow. If your expenses exceed your revenue, you have negative cash flow. Obviously, a business can%26#039;t survive forever with a negative cash flow... only the government can do that!
