If it%26#039;s%26#039; a postal money order, the post office must cash it. Perhaps you misheard? Perhaps it%26#039;s a fraudulent money order, and that%26#039;s why they wouldn%26#039;t cash it.

Ah, I just looked up what %26quot;crossed%26quot; Means, and your money order is invalid. A bank won%26#039;t cash it either. Send it back to the purchaser and demand a new one. If they don%26#039;t send one in a reasonable amount of time, file a non paying bidder complaint on them.

This is a very high risk way of doing business on eBay. A huge percentage of money orders used to pay for eBay purchases are fake. Pay Pal is the only safe way to go.

The PO is right: a crossed postal order has to go through a bank. You could either exchange it for cash with someone who has a bank account, or use it in part payment of something else, or as a last resort send it back to the person who bought the thing from you and ask him/her to send you an uncrossed postal order instead. One other idea: use it to open a bank account (you%26#039;d have to give the bank identification and proof of your address) and draw the money out in cash as soon as they%26#039;ll let you.|||has to go through a bank account sorry.when selling stuff again mention if sending postal order not for them to be crossed, then you can cash them at post office|||Inform the Postal Service that you have no bank account. Speak to someone that looks at least competent. I had a similar situation with the postal service and vowed never again! Take ID etc. Other than that, put it in Pay Pal!|||You can%26#039;t cash it. You have to pay it into a bank account.

You will have to open one.
